Clients sometimes ask why we have a smiling chef featured so prominently on our website. Because he is family, of course!

With our busy schedules and caring for many clients, we have always wanted a personal chef, and when we found him we fell in love! Thank goodness we had our camera, and were able to catch his spirit. Our "life size" cook fit the bill, and we snapped his picture before he could say no.

Made from some type of composite material, resin perhaps, somebody had given him real glasses that reflected the fluorescent lights from above. He has since become a part of our family, and his warm caring face makes us feel like smiling every time we see him. We hope his smiling image makes you feel the same way. Call him what you will, just don't complain about his cooking!!!

The importance of protecting and preserving your family's or organization's written and pictorial history:

Sometimes it takes the ravages of a hurricane like Katrina or Ike, or even a tsunami that changes the world to make us realize how irreplaceable our lives and treasured memories are. We encourage our clients to make duplicates of their old family photos, fading love letters, and historical documents that have been passed down from generation to generation. For safekeeping, give several copies around between family members and be sure to put a copy in a safety deposit box.

Never before in history has the ability to preserve our memories been so great. The 1800's brought the advent of photography, the early 1900's brought us silent films, and then they spoke. Some clients have only fragile 16 mm film from images taken in the 1920's through the 1950's, as their parents opted for the magic of movement rather than boring still photographs. Now, to preserve those images, many have been transferred to the old VHS format, then transferred again to DVD, but how easy is it to gaze upon your loved ones when they are shut in a cabinet or in a drawer? Consider choosing the best images and feature in your own book.

We can duplicate photo albums or scrapbooks so they can be shared with friends and family. You can either have the pages scanned by you or a company near you that specializes in large format scanning, or we can scan the items, or if too bulky and large, we can photograph for digital archival purposes.

Pages can be printed individually for insertion into a second album or scrap book, or a clam shell portfolio can be made with a die cut cover for photo insertion, including your own embossed graphic logo. When caring for family or friends suffering from Alzheimer or Dementia, consider making a scrap book with the names of the subject and the dates when the picture was taken. You can use our own printer and laminate the pages.
